for a month out of the year they bank anywhere from 20-40k usually

yeah but most go through different crab seasons though dont they?
From King Crab down on correct? Seems like with good seasons you could end up around 60+ for a couple months work, unless you die.

The top two in that area are king and ophelio crab, I think. There are some crabbers who will do both seasons. That's insane. I'm not much of an open water kind of person, though. And yeah, not a bad haul of cash ... if you don't die.

there are two crab seasons king crab which is in the fall and opilio which is in the winter

I just read they are making a DC video game for the 360.
That could be interesting, well, regardless those two seasons could fetch you a nice lil income.

those deckhands who work both seasons make 40-60k on average.......for what equals about 12 weeks of work.......6 in each season
